MYIA is firmly committed to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for all of our products. The protection of your privacy being very important, we have adopted the following practices to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information.

What information will you ask me for?

MYIA collects data about you using a number of methods: (1) through the Auction; (2) on the MYIA website; and (3) through marketing partners. We may collect data through other channels in the future, but for now, these are the primary ways through which we gather data.

The data we gather about you can vary according to the method through which the data is gathered. When you participate in an Auction, we gather information associated with telephone (this may be a mobile or land-line phone). If you successfully win an Auction, we gather additional information to enable shipping and confirmation of the prize. The information we gather, regardless of the channel through which it is gathered, may include your name, address, email, phone, demographic data, MYIA usage data, connection data associated with your mobile device or computer, and service provider data. We may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future. And we may also combine non-personal data (such as MYIA website usage) with personal information.

MYIA does not intentionally gather data from or about children. Minors are not permitted to participate in MYIA Auctions.

California Residents: Your California Privacy Rights

Under California law, California Residents who have an established business relationship with (MYIA) (“My Instant Access ”) may choose to opt out of MYIA's disclosure of personal information about them to third parties for purposes of direct marketing. MYIA does not share personal information for direct marketing purposes without your prior approval. If you wish to revoke your consent for such information sharing for third party direct marketing at any time after granting approval, contact us at privacy@myia.com.

How will this information be used and who has access to it?

MYIA uses the information we collect about you to process all aspects of the Auction and other MYIA services. We may also hire third parties to provide certain services (such as ad serving or email delivery). In such cases, our service providers (acting as our agents) will be required to adhere to this privacy policy.

We may also use your information for marketing purposes, to send you additional notices and updates about offerings from MYIA. We may, in the future, provide information about you to marketing partners – but we’ll make sure to get your consent before that happens.

Additionally, we may need to use or share your information in response to any legal action or investigation by authorities. We may also share your data if we believe that such sharing will prevent a potential or actual injury, or an interference with MYIA ’s operations, property, systems, or legal rights. In these cases, we will not secure your consent prior to sharing your information.

How do you protect my information?

We only collect and use your information in accordance with this privacy policy and we maintain appropriate safeguards to ensure the security and integrity of the information you have provided. In addition, we will take reasonable steps to assure that third parties to whom we transfer any personal information will provide sufficient protection of that information.

How long do you keep the information I've given you?

We keep the information you have given us for as long as you are a member of our product.

Our Guarantee!

The entire MYIA experience is based upon us sharing information with you and you sharing information with us. We need to receive information from you in order to process bids in the Auction. Prior to entering the Auction, we will get your consent to participate in the Auction and for our data practices (as described in this privacy policy). We will even double check, just to make sure that you agree to these terms! We feel that this “double opt-in” is an important protection for you – we want to make sure that you understand our programs and privacy policy
